Off-Road Racing Parts, Tires & Wheels

Shop off-road racing parts, tires, beadlock wheels, shocks, suspension, steering, brakes, hubs, body panels, race lighting and chassis components.

Off-Road Racing Parts, Tires and Wheels

Off-road racers learn quickly that the expensive part is not always the part that ends the day. A bent tie rod, broken hub, cooked brake pad, cracked wheel or shock that loses pressure can stop a race car just as effectively as an engine failure. That is why serious teams carry spares, know their service intervals and build parts inventories around the places they race.

Shop off-road racing parts, tires, beadlock wheels, shocks, suspension components, steering parts, brakes, hubs, spindles, body panels, race lighting, cage hardware and other physical competition components on RaceTeams.com.

This category is for vehicle-mounted racing parts and spares. It is intentionally separate from complete powertrains, driver safety equipment and race-support equipment.

Shop Off Road Parts for Race Cars, Trucks and UTVs

Listings may include tires, wheels, beadlocks, shocks, springs, bump stops, control arms, trailing arms, radius rods, links, heims, rod ends, steering racks, steering boxes, tie rods, hubs, spindles, knuckles, brake components, body panels, doors, roofs, hoods, skid plates, bumpers, cage hardware, vehicle-mounted lighting and race-used spare components.

Sellers should provide manufacturer, part number when available, known vehicle application, dimensions, condition, service history, repairs, race use, included hardware and anything the buyer will still need to install the part.

Complete engines, transmissions, transaxles, transfer cases and major drivetrain assemblies belong under Off-Road Racing Engines and Drivetrains.

Off Road Racing Tires

Off road tires are one of the largest product searches in this family, but the listing needs to make competition use clear.

A desert team may be buying for high-speed rock and silt. A short-course team may be managing tires around track surface and repeated heats. An Ultra4 racer may need sidewall strength and traction in rocks without giving up stability at speed. A UTV team may be balancing size, weight, clearance and spare capacity.

Listings may include new race tires, mounted sets, race-used take-offs and team surplus. Sellers should include size, model, construction, date code when available, tread condition, punctures, repairs, race mileage or use, quantity and whether wheels are included.

A tire that finished the Baja 500 or King of the Hammers may have a great story. It may also have a lot of hard miles on it. Both things can be true.

Off Road Wheels and Beadlocks

Listings may include forged wheels, cast wheels, beadlock wheels, UTV beadlocks, Trophy Truck wheels, buggy wheels, short-course wheels, Ultra4 wheels, replacement beadlock rings, centers, lug nuts and studs.

Sellers should include diameter, width, bolt pattern, offset or backspacing, center bore, beadlock configuration, repairs, cracks, bends, race use and included hardware.

Wheels and tires belong on this page. Tire changers, bead breakers, pressure gauges, air systems and wheel-service tools belong under Off-Road Racing Equipment and Race Support Gear.

Shocks and Suspension Components

Suspension is where off-road race vehicles become highly specific.

Listings may include coilovers, bypass shocks, smooth-body shocks, springs, bump stops, control arms, trailing arms, radius rods, A-arms, links, sway bars, torsion components, shock mounts, heims, uniballs and rod ends.

A Trophy Truck buyer may care about shock diameter, bypass configuration and service history. A UTV buyer needs exact year and chassis fitment. An Ultra4 racer may be thinking about link geometry and impact loads. A short-course team may need a replacement corner before the next heat.

Sellers should describe dimensions, travel, spring rates, documented valving information, service date, leaks, shaft condition, body damage and known application.

Shock rebuilding, suspension tuning, setup and geometry work belong under Off-Road Suspension, Shocks and Race Setup.

Steering, Hubs and Wheel-End Parts

Off-road racing can be brutal on steering and wheel-end components.

Listings may include steering racks, boxes, columns, tie rods, drag links, pitman arms, hydraulic steering components, pumps, hubs, spindles, knuckles, bearings and wheel studs.

Buyers should not assume a part is good because it was removed from a running vehicle. Sellers should disclose play, cracks, leaks, bent components, worn splines, weld repairs and known impact history.

For custom Trophy Truck, Class 1 and Ultra4 parts, measurements and photographs can be more valuable than a generic class label.

Brakes and Pedal Components

Listings may include calipers, rotors, pads, master cylinders, pedal assemblies, brake lines, proportioning components and mounting hardware.

Sellers should include piston configuration where relevant, dimensions, remaining wear, heat history, cracks, repairs and compatibility.

Used braking components deserve careful inspection. RaceTeams.com does not certify serviceability or safety.

UTV and SxS Racing Parts

UTV parts can be highly model- and generation-specific.

Listings may include suspension arms, radius rods, trailing arms, steering racks, hubs, knuckles, brakes, cages and cage parts, doors, roofs, skid plates, bumpers, wheels, tires, race lighting and chassis reinforcement pieces for Can-Am, Polaris, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki and other competition platforms.

Current desert racing includes several Pro and Stock UTV divisions, while Ultra4 and short-course series use their own UTV class structures. Sellers should state the exact model, year, seat configuration, generation and modifications required rather than relying on a broad phrase such as fits race UTV.

Clutches, belts, transmissions and major powertrain components belong under Race Engines & Drivetrains. Seats, harnesses and nets belong under Firesuits, Helmets & Safety Gear. Radios and navigation systems belong under Racing Equipment.

Trophy Truck, Buggy and Desert Racing Parts

Desert teams often build spare inventories around the components most likely to wear or take damage between pits.

Listings may include shocks, steering parts, hubs, spindles, brakes, suspension links, body panels, skid protection, wheels, tires and vehicle-mounted lighting for Trophy Trucks, Class 1, Class 10, Class 11 and other desert vehicles.

Series and sanctioning bodies such as SCORE International and the American Off-Road Racing Championship use class structures that can help explain an item's history. Use the class to add context, but always include actual specifications.

Ultra4 and Rock Racing Parts

Ultra4 and rock-racing listings may include links, heims, steering components, shocks, wheels, tires, skid plates, bumpers, cage hardware and structural protection used in 4400, 4800, 4500, 4600 and 4900-style competition.

Portable recovery straps, traction boards, D-rings and pit recovery kits belong under Racing Equipment. Vehicle-specific structural mounts or bumpers remain Racing Parts.

Short-Course Racing Parts

Short-course programs can consume bodywork, suspension, hubs, brakes, steering components, wheels and tires through a season.

Listings may include parts for PRO4, PRO2, PRO LITE, PRO SPEC, Pro Buggy and SxS competition when the fitment is accurate. Current Championship Off-Road events at Crandon, Bark River, ERX, Dirt City, Antigo and Glen Helen are useful examples of the racing environment, but they do not make a part officially approved.

Body Panels, Cage Hardware and Race Lighting

Listings may include fiberglass or composite bodywork, doors, roofs, hoods, fenders, bedsides, skid plates, belly pans, bumpers, nerf bars, cage tubes or preformed cage components, tabs, brackets and vehicle-mounted lights.

Sellers should describe material, dimensions, repairs, paint or wrap condition, mounting points and known fitment.

Vehicle-mounted race lights and dedicated wiring can remain here. Portable pit lights, generators and support lighting belong under Racing Equipment.

Custom fabrication, welding and installation labor belong in Book rather than Shop.

New, Used and Race-Used Parts

Condition language should help the buyer decide what happens next.

Use terms such as new, used, race-used, rebuilt, repaired, take-off, damaged, untested or surplus accurately. Disclose cracks, bends, leaks, stripped threads, weld repairs, worn bearings, damaged splines, corrosion and missing hardware.

The phrase race-ready should not replace a real condition description.

What Sellers Should Include

Include:

  • Part type and manufacturer
  • Part number when available
  • Known chassis, vehicle or class application
  • Dimensions and mounting information
  • Condition and race use
  • Service or rebuild history
  • Repairs and known damage
  • Quantity
  • Included and missing hardware
  • Compatibility notes
  • Clear photographs
  • Shipping, freight or pickup needs
  • Exactly what the buyer receives

What Buyers Should Verify

Before purchasing, verify fitment, dimensions, part numbers, service history, repairs, current rules, structural condition and seller claims, especially for suspension, steering, brakes, wheels and chassis components.

RaceTeams.com does not inspect, certify or guarantee off-road racing parts, fitment, service history, structural integrity, class legality, technical approval, safety, performance or seller claims.
