Accessibility Statement

Making motorsports commerce easier to use for everyone

RaceTeams, LLC ("RaceTeams," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to improving access to RaceTeams.com for people with disabilities.

RaceTeams is a marketplace built to help people throughout motorsports buy, sell, book, partner, communicate, and do business. Accessibility is part of making that marketplace useful to the broadest possible racing community.

1. Our accessibility approach

RaceTeams uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as an important technical reference and accessibility target for the RaceTeams website.

RaceTeams does not claim that every page, feature, third-party integration, document, or piece of User Content has been independently tested or certified as fully conforming to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing process, and the marketplace will continue to change as new Listings, features, providers, and content are added.

2. Areas we work to improve

RaceTeams' accessibility efforts may include reviewing and improving areas such as:

  • Keyboard navigation
  • Visible keyboard focus
  • Page structure and semantic headings
  • Form labels, instructions, and error messages
  • Text and interface color contrast
  • Browser zoom and text resizing
  • Alternative text for meaningful RaceTeams-controlled images
  • Link and button labels that communicate purpose
  • Captions or text alternatives for RaceTeams-controlled audiovisual content where appropriate
  • Consistent navigation and page structure
  • Compatibility with commonly used assistive technologies

Automated testing can help identify some problems, but RaceTeams recognizes that automated testing alone cannot determine whether a website is fully accessible. Manual review and user feedback are also important.

3. Marketplace and User Content

RaceTeams includes content posted by Sellers, Buyers, teams, drivers, tracks, series, service providers, sponsors, and other marketplace users. That content may include photographs, videos, documents, descriptions, links, logos, and other materials that RaceTeams did not create.

RaceTeams may provide tools, standards, guidance, or corrective requests intended to improve the quality and accessibility of marketplace content, but RaceTeams cannot guarantee that every piece of User Content is accessible to every person or assistive technology.

If User Content creates a material accessibility barrier, please report it so RaceTeams can review what reasonable action may be available.

4. Third-party services

RaceTeams uses and may link to third-party services such as Sharetribe, Stripe, mapping providers, embedded media, shipping or escrow providers, and websites operated by marketplace users or other third parties.

Those services may have their own accessibility features, limitations, standards, and support processes. RaceTeams does not control every aspect of an independent third-party service, but we welcome reports when a third-party integration creates difficulty within the RaceTeams experience.

5. Need help accessing information or completing a task?

If you have difficulty accessing content, using a marketplace feature, understanding a form, or completing a transaction-related step because of an accessibility barrier, please contact RaceTeams.

RaceTeams will make reasonable efforts to investigate the issue and, where feasible, provide the requested information or assistance through an accessible alternative while the underlying problem is reviewed.

6. Report an accessibility issue

Email:

support@raceteams.com

It is helpful to include:

  • The page URL or name of the feature
  • A description of the problem
  • What you were trying to accomplish
  • Any error message you received
  • Your browser or device, if relevant
  • The assistive technology involved, if you choose to share it

You do not need to provide medical information or disclose the nature of a disability to report an accessibility problem.

7. Ongoing improvement

RaceTeams may update its website, marketplace design, accessibility practices, testing methods, content requirements, and third-party integrations over time.

This Accessibility Statement is intended to describe RaceTeams' accessibility commitment and feedback process. It is not a certification that every part of the Service satisfies a particular technical standard at all times.
